Why Volunteer?
Becoming an Ivy volunteer should be a really positive experience for you and the people around you. Some reasons why people volunteer are:
Fun – volunteering is fun and you get to do things you wouldn’t be able to do otherwise and meet some great people at the same time.
Choice – you choose what it is you want to do. How often does that happen?
Training – lots of volunteering offers training and volunteers can learn new skills that are useful in other areas of life.
Challenge – stretch yourself and get a real sense of achievement.
Jobs – whether you’re looking for a first job or want to get a better one, volunteering can give you loads of skills that employers are looking for.
